The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nasarawa State Command has arrested 12 suspects for alleged theft, armed robbery and vandalism of solar panels.
Parading the suspects in Lafia, the state capital, on Tuesday, the state commandant, Mr. Muhammad Gidado-Fari, said Suleiman Hudu-Sulieman, 19, and Hudu Yusuf, 30, were arrested at Mararaba Akunza on January 20, 2018 for alleged theft of a motorcycle.
In the case of armed robbery, he said Salihu Aliyu, 22, was apprehended by the personnel of the command at about 1.30am while trying to rob the occupants of a house in the Angwan Tiv area of the Lafia Local Government Area of the state.
The NSCDC boss added that Arumayaku Hudu and Sirgiri Abubakar were arrested for alleged vandalism of solar panels in the Mararaba Akunza area of the Lafia Local Government Area of the state.

Gidado-Fari added, “Items recovered from the suspects include two solar batteries, tools and charms.”
He said all the suspects would be charged to court as soon as the command completed its investigations.
